Airfield Victory

A rare sight indeed: a high school hockey game is played on an active airfield at downtown St. Paul's Holman field for Hockey Day MN 2015 in honor of family members and soldiers of the Minnesota National Guard's 34th Combat Aviation Brigade and the Delta Company 2/147th Assault Helicopter Battalion. The moment captured here is a mere second after senior Jake Wittl scores the winning goal, securing Hill-Murray School's victory over rival Saint Thomas Academy in sudden-death overtime on January 17, 2015.
